Adriano Romeo

Adriano Romeo joined KRP as a senior manager in 2011, before being invited into the firm’s partnership ranks in 2018. Adriano now serves a growing list of clients in KRP’s accounting and assurance practice.

Adriano has more than a decade of experience working with the owners of small- and medium-sized businesses across sectors including construction, real estate, manufacturing, franchising and not-for-profit organizations. Adriano brings expertise in accounting and audit, as well as estate, corporate and personal tax planning. He has also assisted clients in obtaining financing, while helping to manage negotiations around the sale of client businesses.

Adriano is actively involved with developing the firm’s professional standards and quality assurance materials, as well as mentoring many of our junior team members.

His perspectives on managing and growing a small to mid-sized business are borne from experience. Prior to becoming an accountant, Adriano owned and managed a small construction company. That entrepreneurial background allowed him to gain first-hand expertise in key areas such as budgeting, cash flow and risk management. Those experiences also highlighted many of the challenges that opportunities that entrepreneurs face, but which often go unrecognized by their trusted advisors. His strategy has long been to take a holistic approach to helping clients navigate these issues, all to help drive the success of their companies.

An active member of the community, Adriano is a member of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (CIBPA) and lives in Vaughan with his young family. In 2018, he was a founding member and major fundraiser for the inaugural KRP cycling team that participated in the annual Ride to Conquer Cancer to benefit the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He obtained his C.P.A., C.A. designation in 2010 and graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree.
