Pratik Lalseta

Pratik Lalseta is always in search of a new challenge. Since beginning his accounting career in India in 2007, Pratik has chosen to work on the public side of the industry due to the fast-paced nature of the work and the opportunity to work directly with entrepreneurial clients. “I need to be on my toes 24-7, and with public accounting, there are always new complexities,” he explains.

Pratik completed his accounting studies abroad before moving to Canada in 2019, where he earned his CPA designation. He’s delivered assurance and audit reviews to a diverse range of private companies across industries including retail, real estate, consumer goods, asset management, construction, not-for-profit, healthcare and government organizations.

Pratik has worked at both national and mid-sized public accounting firms—and he finds the workplace culture at KRP LLP to be unique in several ways. “We give our team a sense of independence and we’re focused on growing together,” he explains. “Our clients can rely on our efficient turnaround times and can depend on the advice and technical expertise that we deliver. Outside of work, Pratik enjoys reading and spending time with his family. He’s also an athlete, playing soccer and cricket in summer and working out daily in the gym.
